Rich media, including things like infographics, video content, and even audio content, can help companies generate more sales. However, to achieve that, companies will also have to keep in mind the other important factors and elements they have implemented on their websites to generate the best possible results. There are different ways that companies can implement rich media to generate more sales from their business websites, such as incorporating product reviews, a product gallery, and more.

Reviews

One of the biggest contributing factors to increased conversion rates that companies have noted is including a product video on the product page. However, one thing that companies tend to overlook when it comes to creating video content for their product pages to generate more sales is the fact that they can include customer feedback and reviews in their video content. This way, instead of having potential customers look through each and every review that’s placed under the product on its product page, companies can select a few highlights to better present their solutions to the target audience.

Gallery

Another way that companies can include more rich media in their product pages to generate more sales and achieve more success is by including a few different images of the solution that they provide to their customers, instead of only one or two images. Images allow potential customers to see the product that they want to purchase before deciding to make a purchase, however, to motivate them to convert companies will have to provide them with more than just one or two images of the solution so that they’ll get a better idea of the product, and be more confident in their purchasing decision.

Product schema

Another incredibly beneficial element that companies can add to their product pages to generate more conversions, achieve more success, and even increase their ranking on search engine results pages is incorporating a product schema on the product page. The product schema is simply structured data of the products which provides search engines with a lot more information about the solutions that the company provides to its customers, and helps them serve the best results to their users. Things like the pricing, availability, as well as user ratings, can all be included in a product schema for each product a company provides to its customers, to help the company reach its target audience more effectively, and get them to convert.
