Top Advertising Platforms for Brands

Advertising platforms provide companies with a real-time marketplace through which they can buy or sell ad space.

These platforms are able to connect millions of publishers to companies looking to place their ads on the Internet and all of it happens in a single moment.

A visitor opens a website, and the website publisher captures the impression and relevant data of that visitor.

Then, the companies will bid on that impression instantaneously and the highest bidder will get an ad placement on that website.

To make all of this work, there is a lot of powerful software in the background, which is where advertising platforms come in.

There are different types of platforms that companies can use for their ad campaigns and different benefits that come with each type of platform.

Benefits

There are plenty of benefits to why companies should be using advertising platforms for their campaigns, with the most important one being the potential to scale the advertising campaign.

They also provide companies with detailed targeting options and a lot more efficiency for their campaigns, which means they can reach a lot of people and create flexible campaigns.

Some of the top advertising platforms give companies the access to millions of website publishers all over the world, which allows businesses to reach the target audience, wherever they might be.

Since reaching out to all those different website publishers manually would take a really long time, with advertising platforms all of that can be done in real-time.

Additionally, not every website publisher caters to the target audience of every single business, which means one of the most important elements of advertising platforms is giving companies the ability to reach very targeted audiences in real-time.

These advertising platforms run on a very large scale and collect restaurants of data that’s been leveraged to improve the performance of every ad.

When companies utilize advertising platforms, they’re also able to set very specific parameters for who and where the ads will be served which is a great advantage.

The amount of data that companies can access through those platforms also make advertising campaigns a lot more efficient, and since companies don’t need to make long-term deals with the website publishers, which means the campaigns are a lot more flexible.

Types of Ads

There are several main types of ads that companies can use, including display ads which are placed on the header, sidebar, or the footer of a website.

Then, there are social ads that are displayed on social media platforms, and video ads that show up before, during, or at the end of video content on various platforms.

There are also audio ads that are presented in audio content, like podcasts.

Lastly, companies can also use native ads. These types of ads follow the forum or type of content that they’re shown inside of.

For instance, they can show up as images in between paragraphs in an article, which, when clicked, will lead the viewer to a different website, such as a promoted Amazon listing.
